RxDC Reporting Due: December 27, 2022
Santa isn't the only one making a list and checking it twice!!
BABD Data Services (BABD DS) is asking you to do the same for your clients.
PBMs and TPAs say they have it covered?
But wait! What exactly is "it"?
Here's what we know:
"It" is the new RxDC Reporting requirement.
"It" is necessary for any employer who has incurred claims for self-insured (including level-funded) medical and/or pharmacy on or after January 1, 2020. Employers must report on the business that was self-insured beginning on or after January 1, 2020, regardless of their funding status today.
"It" is a requirement for each reference year - all 8 data files and any narrative responses must be filed on behalf of every employer who sponsored a self-insured medical and/or pharmacy plan at any time beginning with claims incurred on or after January 1, 2020.
"It" is a requirement that employers who have had a carve-out stop loss arrangement must have record saying that the TPA or PBM will file D1 on the employer’s behalf. It also means that the employer has communicated its stop-loss premiums to the reporting entity and has record of the same.
Do they really have "it" covered?
Here's how BABD DS is covering "it"...
BABD DS provides a solution to employers who discovered “it” isn't covered.
BABD DS provides a solution limited in scope (and cost!) for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 reporting periods.
Use BABD DS to check "it" off your list. The next filing is due June 1 for claims incurred and paid by March 31, 2023.
Did you miss the HIOS registration deadline? December 14 has passed. No worries, BABD Data Services has you covered. Scratch the hassle of trying to figure "it" out on your own. Our team has the ability to report on your behalf. Hop on the BABD Data Service sleigh and LET'S GET STARTED!
